Newsletter: when you subscribe, we collect your email address and, optionally, your first name.
Accounts: if you create an account, we store your email address and name. If you register with a password, we store only a securely hashed version of it — never the password itself.
Sign in with Google: if you choose to sign in with Google, Google shares your name, email address, and profile picture with us so we can create and identify your account. We do not receive your Google password. See Google's Privacy Policy.
Saved puzzles: members can save puzzles to their account. We store the puzzle settings and content you choose to save.
Server logs: like most websites, our servers may record standard information such as your IP address, browser type, and pages visited.

The puzzle generator

Our puzzle generator runs entirely in your browser. The words, titles, and options you enter are used to build your puzzle on your own device and are not sent to or stored on our servers — unless you are a signed-in member and explicitly choose to save a puzzle to your account.

Cookies

We use a single essential cookie to keep you signed in and to protect forms against abuse (CSRF). We do not use advertising or third-party tracking cookies.

How we use your information

We use your information to operate the site, send newsletters and updates you asked for, provide your account and saved puzzles, and keep the service secure. You can unsubscribe from emails at any time using the link in any message.

Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with service providers that help us run the site (for example, email delivery and Google sign-in), and only as needed to provide the service.

Our books are available for purchase on Amazon. When you click a "Buy" button you are taken to the product's Amazon listing to complete your purchase on Amazon's own site, under their policies.

Your choices

You may unsubscribe from emails, ask us to delete your account and saved puzzles, or request a copy of the data we hold about you. Just get in touch.
